Bring a potluck dish to share and join us for an incredible opportunity to learn about how we can all learn to recognize and support children and youth who are in challenging and often abusive situations.  We are the guardians of all of our children and youth.  We'll learn about safety, how to assist families, and what is required to report suspected abousive situations. 

This two-hour workshop will be led by Martha Timmons, a trained facilitator with the Darkness to Light program. You can find more information here about this organiztion.  https://www.d2l.org/

Childare will not be provided, so that our childcare staff may attend the workshop.

The workshop is for an adult audience only.

The worshop is open to anyone in the congregation, whether or not you work directly with children and youth, or just have young people in your lives.  Join us for an informative afternoon!

Cost is $10 per person to cover the cost of materials.
